Heating Costs
First calculate an average annual cost to heat using the past two years of heating bills.
Then calculate the projected 5 year cost by using the formula below.
Average Annual Cost To Heat =     $___________________ (A)
Projected 5 Year Cost     -   (A) x 5 x 1.11* =     $___________________ (B)
*The 1.11 factor is used to adjust for a 5% rise in fuel cost/inflation per year for 5 years.
Cost of Waste Oil Disposal
Multiply the number of gallons of waste oil produced annually by the disposal cost per gallon.
________________ x _______________    =  $___________________ (C)
(Gallons Generated/Yr.)            (Cost / Gallon)
 5 Year Disposal Cost  -                     (C) x 5   =  $___________________ (D)
Note: Either assume that the customer produces enough waste oil for the entire heat requirement or make an adjustment to reflect additional fuel required to supplement the waste oil supply.
Total Cost For Heating and Disposal For Present System
Total Annual Cost  -                      (A) + (C)  =   $____________________  (E)
Total 5 Year Cost   -                      (B) + (D)  =   $____________________  (F)
Total REZNOR Waste Oil Furnace Expense*

_________   +  __________    +   ______ =   $____________________ (G)
  (Furnace Price)      (Installation Cost)       (Freight)
Note: In order to keep the work sheet simple, maintenance charges are not included which may or may not increase the REZNOR Waste Oil Furnace versus the current heat source.
Furnace Payback
Determine how long it will take to recoup the initial expenditure on the on the REZNOR Waste Oil Furnace by dividing the cost of the furnace by the annual savings in heat and disposal costs.
 Number Of Years To Payback Furnace -     (G) / (E) =  $________________
5 Year Savings
Determine the Total 5 Year Savings from using a REZNOR Waste Oil Furnace by subtracting the total expense from the total 5 year cost for heating and disposal.
5 Year Savings - (F) - (G) =  $_________________
